Garretson School Home
Welome to High School Language Arts!
Hello and welcome to Mrs. Buchholz's homepage. I am very excited to be teaching another year in Blue Dragon country. I am continuing to teach high school English classes including sophomore English, speech, British Literature, AP Literature and Composition, and journalism.
I am also serving as
the assistant volleyball coach, the assistan
coach, and yearbook advisor. I am looking forward to a fun-filled, busy year here in Garretson.
You may see my family and I attending multiple events throughout the year. I live in Garretson with my husband, Cory, and three boys. We are avid year-round sports fans; I am a die-hard Minnesota Twins fan.
I graduated from Augustana College in 2008 with a double major in Communication Studies and Secondary Education and a minor in Mathematics. I earned my Masters in Education in 2013 from Southwest Minnesota State University.
If you ever have any classroom related questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me. You can either leave me a voicemail by calling
extension 305 or email me at
