Speech
In speech students will work on their interpersonal communication skills as well as public speaking. They will give a multitude of speeches on a variety of topics, including beliefs, travel, and demonstrations, throughout the semester. It is an expectation that they organize, prepare, and practice their speeches as well as be an active listener and well-behaved audience member. They will self-evaluate and peer evaluate speeches while working on personal confidence in front of groups.
Please refer to the Speech Requirements and Outlines to find the speeches, outline examples, and additional information needed to complete the assigned speeches.
